backstory

Born during a violent storm that leveled a portion of the city walls, Serania has always had a tempest inside her. She grew up in the newly rebuilt quarters of Neverwinter, idolized for her grace and natural magic. But her powers surged with every thunderstorm—until one day, she accidentally caused a lightning strike that killed a visiting noble. Banished from courtly life, she fled to the docks, where she learned to harness her gifts in secret while living among sailors, smugglers, and sea witches. Now, she walks the thin line between legend and threat, protecting Neverwinter’s coastal edges from sea beasts and unnatural weather. She believes the storm that birthed her is sentient and watches her, and she’s determined to discover why her magic answers to it.
