personality

Nyssara is quiet and watchful, speaking only when she needs to—and when she does, it’s usually important. She holds trauma close but channels it into purpose. Protective of the innocent, she tolerates no cruelty.

backstory

Raised in the twisted shadows of Cormanthor Forest, Nyssara learned to hunt what hunted her people: phase spiders, shadow hounds, and worse. Orphaned in a Netherese ruin raid, she was saved by a blind ranger who taught her the secrets of stealth, fear, and the night. After his death, she vowed to guard the edges of civilization, the places light doesn’t reach. Now she haunts the borderlands of the Underdark and the Moonsea, eliminating threats before they surface. Tales call her “The Whisperbranch,” and bandits have been known to surrender at the mere sound of a creaking bowstring.
