Tiamat embodies supremacy through multiplicity, viewing herself as the rightful ruler of all creation. Her patience is infinite, but her vengeance is cosmic in scope. She revels in the devotion of mortals, using betrayal as a tool and seeing loyalty as a temporary illusion. She admires power in others only as potential stepping stones to her own resurrection and revenge.
backstory
Tiamat, the Chromatic Dragon, is the evil queen of dragonkind, an ancient deity cast from the heavens for her insatiable ambition and treachery. Once a powerful celestial force, she betrayed her kind during the Dawn Wars, seeking dominion over all dragonkind and divine supremacy. Her punishment was banishment to the Nine Hells, where she carved a domain in Avernus, surrounded by infernal legions and the stolen riches of fallen kingdoms. Despite her exile, her influence festers across the realms—whispers in the minds of tyrants, cults who bleed the land dry for her return, and dragons who still dare to call her mother.
Her five heads—black, blue, green, red, and white—represent the chaotic convergence of her chromatic children, each bearing a distinct will and hunger. Though bound to Avernus, she hungers endlessly for liberation and conquest, manipulating mortals and dragons alike through dreams, promises, and cataclysmic pacts. Her name is both a curse and a prayer.
