Souls are forced to wade through the river, their flesh seared and their minds tormented by the memories of their past regrets. Demonic ferries, crafted from rusted iron and bone, transport the damned across the river, their skeletal forms a constant reminder of mortality. The river's currents are treacherous, pulling the damned towards the churning depths where they are consumed by the boiling tears. The air is thick with the acrid smell of burnt flesh and the bitter tang of regret.
The river's surface shimmers with a dark, oily sheen, reflecting the tormented faces of the souls trapped within. Jagged iron spikes jut out from the banks, creating a menacing landscape, while skeletal ferrymen glide silently across the water in their rusted vessels.
