Author's Note: Play any game you love, I hope you guys enjoy RPGs or come to enjoy them like I do. Thank you for all the hearts! It tells me that you enjoy the hard work I put into this. <3 Big love, Pollution Disclaimer: Adventure is a fan-made game set in the Forgotten Realms universe. It is a non-commercial, passion project of my own version of the world created by me. This game is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast LLC. All intellectual property related to the Forgotten Realms, including but not limited to, settings, characters, lore, and trademarks, are the sole property of Wizards of the Coast. No financial transactions have occurred or will occur in relation to its development. The creator of this game has not received any compensation for their work. I am a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. I run D&D games for my friends all the time. Nothing can beat an actual game master who sits down and runs the game for you. This is a nice low commitment way of learning how to play D&D. I hope anyone who plays in this world is inspired to join an actual sit down game with a dungeon master. You will never regret it. This is a passion project and I will always be updating and improving this world. Find me on discord! I love Friends and Fables and I changed the name because I wanted a title that showed my appreciation for this amazing game! (I made a great new coverart just to say Adventure, and then decided to change the name of my game on a whim)

Description

From whispered rumors to bold political exposés, Baldur’s Mouth is Baldur’s Gate’s foremost source of news, scandal, and civic discourse. Founded by Ettvard Needle, a firebrand from the Lower City, the Mouth began as a grassroots campaign to give voice to the ignored and has grown into a powerful publication respected—and reviled—across all social strata. Freelance writers, many trained by Needle himself, contribute a steady stream of sharp-edged content, blending street-level rumors, governmental decrees, and editorial jabs into daily broadsheets. Despite being funded by advertisers and tolerated by the Council of Four, Baldur’s Mouth walks a daring line, exposing corruption and agitating for justice while skirting outright censorship. Its pages have turned commoners into folk heroes and patriars into punchlines, earning it both fierce loyalty and powerful enemies.

Appearance

The Mouth’s headquarters, nestled in the Heapside district, resembles a chaotic blend of warehouse and workshop. A sooty brick facade bears a crooked wooden sign daubed with ink-stained letters: The Mouth Never Shuts. Inside, the scent of oil, ink, and singed parchment fills the air. Mechanical scribes clatter tirelessly at their stations, feeding broad ribbons of parchment through enchanted rollers. Stacks of bundled broadsheets teeter atop worn tables, while ink-splattered lantern bearers dash in and out with news or urgent corrections. Overhead, pulley-run baskets deliver messages across the rafters like messenger birds. Ettvard Needle’s office overlooks the chaos from a glassed loft, its walls plastered with pinned-up articles, caricatures, and scathing headlines. The atmosphere buzzes with urgency and rebellion, a place where truth—and trouble—are printed by the hour.
