House Hunzrin, a drow house in Menzoberranzan's Eastmyr district, is led by Shakti Hunzrin. They control most of the city's agriculture, managing rothé herds around Lake Donigarten and on the Isle of Rothe, producing cheese and meat with orc and goblin slave labor. Their favored weapon is the pitchfork, a symbol of their agrarian power. Despite their arrogance, their primary strength comes from this vital control, allowing them to use quaggoths as shock troops and even employ a naga. While allied with House Baenre and House Barrison Del'Armgo, House Hunzrin is now strategically consolidating its wealth to accrue greater political power within the city.
House Hunzrin's compound in Eastmyr, despite its vital agricultural role, might present a less ostentatious facade. Imagine a sprawling, functional complex of caverns and carved stone, perhaps with less ornate decoration than other noble houses. Its exterior would likely be pragmatic, focusing on storage and efficient movement of goods and livestock, rather than pure grandeur. However, the presence of quaggoth guards and perhaps a subtle, unsettling aura hinting at the naga within would still convey its power.
