Description

Arach-Tinilith is Menzoberranzan's clerical school, located within Tier Breche and resembling a giant spider. Its "cephalothorax" houses grand chapels and senior priestess quarters, with the main chapel a black stone marvel featuring a spider-headed drow female statue. Led by a Mistress like Quenthel Baenre, who commands respect and battles intrigue, the school rigidly trains novice priestesses. Founded by the extinct House S'sril to standardize Lolth's teachings, it's the largest Academy complex, even enduring demon attacks and internal plots, all while focusing on Lolth's merciless doctrine.

Appearance

Arach-Tinilith, the grand clerical school, dominates Tier Breche as a massive, spider-shaped complex. Its "cephalothorax" section houses the holiest chapels and senior priestess quarters. The crowning feature is the main chapel, carved from a single mass of black stone, featuring a chilling statue of a spider with a drow female's head. This imposing, dark structure perfectly embodies its devotion to the Spider Queen.
