Description

Sorcere, also known as "the Tower," is Menzoberranzan's esteemed school for drow mages and wizards, part of the Tier Breche academy. Its complex comprises sculpted stalagmite towers and numerous spires against the cavern's western wall. The interior features lead-lined walls to counter magical intrusion, hallways adorned with art and magical texts, and austere student quarters. Led by the Archmage of Menzoberranzan, Gromph Baenre, Sorcere primarily trains male drow for around 30 years, though rare exceptions for females exist. It's a hub for powerful magic, with scrying chambers, summoning rooms, and dedicated practice caves, solidifying its role as the center of arcane might in the city.

Appearance

Sorcere, the drow wizard academy, is a striking complex of sculpted stalagmite towers and numerous sharp spires rising majestically against Tier Breche's western wall. Its exterior, though formed from natural rock, is clearly shaped by powerful magic, hinting at the arcane energies within. The overall appearance is imposing and arcane, a stark, formidable silhouette against the dark cavern, embodying the raw magical power it cultivates.
