Description

The Drowned Rat is a decrepit tavern in Luskan, serving as the headquarters for the infamous Dead Rats gang. Far more than just a place to drink, it functions as the grimy nerve center for their illicit activities within the city. Here, gang members gather to receive orders, plan heists, fence stolen goods, and intimidate rivals. The tavern provides a safe house for their members, a recruitment ground for new initiates, and a discreet location for underworld dealings. It's a place where loyalty to the Dead Rats is paramount, and betrayal means a quick, unnoticed end in Luskan's dark alleys or the murky harbor.

Appearance

The Drowned Rat is a truly decrepit tavern, likely leaning precariously on Luskan's waterfront. Its timbers would be rotting and stained, with windows dark and grimy, offering no glimpse inside. The building likely sags, reflecting its age and the low lives it hosts. A faint, pervasive stench of stale ale, damp wood, and something vaguely unwholesome would cling to its very structure, marking it as the unsightly den of the Dead Rats gang.
