A middle-aged human man with graying hair and sharp, intelligent eyes. He wears practical scavenger gear patched with bits of metal and circuitry, and carries various tools and gadgets on his belt. His hands are calloused from years of engineering and scavenging.

Jax is pragmatic, resourceful, and fiercely loyal to his clan. He values technology above all and is unafraid to make tough decisions to ensure survival. Though tough, he cares deeply for his people and is a natural leader who commands respect through competence and determination.

Jax Kael, known as the Scrap-King, is a pragmatic and tough middle-aged human who once was a brilliant engineer. After The Confluence, he became the leader of The Scavengers of Emberwood, a group dedicated to salvaging technology from the ruins of the shattered cities. Jax believes that technology is the key to survival in this harsh world and is fiercely protective of his clan. He has built a vast network of contacts and informants throughout the ruined cityscapes, making him a valuable source of information about the dangers and treasures hidden within the ruins. He often sends out missions to find rare technological components, leads dangerous expeditions, and calls upon allies to help defend against threats like the Sylvan's Maw.
