Born in Limassol, Cyprus, Michalis Basaras grew up in a Jewish family during the turbulent times of British rule post-World War I. Facing hardships from both Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities, he later accepted the vitae of Giangaleazzo, a powerful 7th generation Lasombra, and traveled to Milan to serve as his childe and vizier. Michalis found the Sabbat's cruelty abhorrent but was drawn to his sire's philosophical pursuits, especially concerning the Middle East. His role involved correspondence with agents abroad and advising his sire on complex matters. Unable to return to Milan without the Prince's invitation, Michalis relocated to Chicago, taking a position at a progressive synagogue in Dearborn, where he awaits further developments in Kindred society and clan movements.
