(OLD) The Masquerade

A tall, muscular male Kindred with pale skin. He has short, dark hair often slicked back and wears a worn leather jacket over a dark shirt and combat pants, blending military practicality with urban style. His presence is imposing and his movements are precise and deliberate.

Andrei is a fierce and determined warrior with a strong sense of loyalty to his clan and a deep hatred for betrayal. He is pragmatic, ruthless when necessary, but also carries a burden of past trauma that makes him wary of trusting others easily. He speaks with a direct and authoritative manner, rarely wasting words.

Andrei is a 9th Generation Brujah vampire originally from the Soviet Union. He was Embraced by Sigfried, a Brujah enforcer, during the chaos of war after Sigfried planted a bomb on Andrei's tank and spirited him away to safety. Bound by a secret Blood Bond, Andrei served the Brujah Council by enforcing their rule across Eastern Europe, rooting out disloyal Kindred and leading brutal assaults. In the 1980s, he was recalled to the Soviet Union to quell domestic threats, but the Council's coup against Gorbachev collapsed into chaos when a monstrous Nosferatu attacked, killing Sigfried and breaking Andrei's mental bonds. Seizing his freedom, Andrei fled westward, eventually reaching the United States to escape the horrors of his past and start anew in Chicago's vampire society.
