Joshua is a determined and strategic leader, fiercely loyal to his cause and comrades. He is pragmatic, with a deep sense of justice and a burning desire for vengeance against the Sabbat. Though serious and sometimes brooding, he commands respect and inspires loyalty through his unwavering dedication and experience.

Joshua Tarnopolski, known as Blackjack, is a Brujah Kindred from Chicago with a thick Polish accent. Once a leader among the city's socialists in the early 20th century, he was a skilled backroom politician and a rallying figure for workers against the Chicago machine. Though not a famed orator, his leadership inspired many anarchs and younger Brujah who admire his stories of historic socialist figures. After losing his closest allies in a Lupine attack and disappearing for a time, Joshua has returned with knowledge that the Sabbat was behind the attack and has sworn vengeance against them, determined to destroy their presence in Chicago.
