A middle-aged male Kindred with a burned and twisted face, missing his left eye, wearing tattered and grimy clothes that hide his noble origins. His remaining eye is sharp and piercing, and his posture is often hunched, giving him the appearance of a broken-down transient.

Lodin is a deeply paranoid and ambitious vampire, haunted by his past and the betrayals he endured. He is cunning and observant, always seeking to maintain his Masquerade and control over information. Despite his broken state, he retains a sharp mind and a fierce will to survive and influence the vampire society from the shadows.

Olaf Holte, known as Lodin, was once the Prince of Chicago, a powerful Kindred who ruled the city with ambition and deceit. His rise to power was marked by bloodshed and cunning, but his paranoia grew as he navigated the deadly politics of the vampire court. He kept his true name a secret, even from his closest childer, and used his influence to monitor the court and vampire haunts closely. During the War of Chicago in 1993, Lodin was scarred and deformed by Lupines, Anarchs, Sabbat, and former allies, leading to his alleged death. Now, he is a broken shadow of his former self, a homeless, half-mad drunkard who rants in the streets, hiding his true identity and power beneath a facade of madness and decay.
