backstory
Rylos is one of the oldest elders to master the deceptive power of Shadowfen's mists, having spent centuries cultivating the ensnaring spirits of the fen to bind souls to the mire. He witnessed the minds slowly breaking of countless victims lured into the fen's toil. He believes the Academy of Shifting Mists is where the Elf embrace their true nature, teaching young recruits to manipulate the very fabric of perception, using pervasive environmental decay and deadly swamp monsters as tools to ensure their elaborate illusions are never detected.
