Its inhabitants, xenophobic and without loyalty, cling to life amidst decaying lands, endless wars, and horrifying Gods that everyone worships in some form. Hope is a lie; only brutal struggle remains in this world drowned in cynicism and sheer cruelty.

Description
A pale, translucent mushroom from the deepest parts of the Archipelago, known for its eerie connection to the veil between life and death. A creature that consumes it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be deafened for 24 hours. The afflicted creature also gains a form of madness that gives it disadvantage on all Perception checks and causes them to hear the silent whispers of the dead, leaving them mentally scarred for a day or more. This effect can only be cured by Blood Magic.
