Birmingham burns as the French vie for war, witness it all in this Dark Victorian Narrative-RPG.

Author's Note: - 46 unique locations, 8 bosses, and 22 characters. - A city bogged down by industrialisation. - A royal conspiracy that threatens the fate of England. - Engage in tense gameplay as a betrayed noble turned highwayman. Raid estates, hold up and rob people on the road, or act as a mercenary against the French as King Richard flirts with war. - Slice-of-life options: become a master thief, burgle houses as a chimney sweep, attend noble galas, or assist a troubled journalist in deciphering a cryptic letter that threatens the fate of England.... I strongly recommend starting your campaign with ''Generate Points of Interest'' and ''Generate Areas'' disabled. With these options toggled off, Franz will make use of the areas as intended.

appearance
A tall, slender human male with slicked-back black hair and piercing blue eyes. He wears a well-tailored dark coat with a high collar, a waistcoat, and a cravat, giving him an air of sophistication. His fingers are often stained with ink from writing notes or playing cards, and he carries a deck of cards tucked into his coat pocket.
personality
Spencer Roe is a master of black comedy, often using humor to cope with his illness and the harsh realities of life. He can be charming and engaging, but his dark jokes often leave others unsure whether to laugh or feel uncomfortable. He has a cynical view of the world, yet he remains fiercely loyal to those he considers friends.
backstory
Once a renowned gunslinger, Spencer Roe turned to gambling after a bout with tuberculosis left him unable to pursue a life of violence. Now, he roams the smoky backrooms of Victorian-era establishments, using his sharp wit and dark humor to mask the pain of his illness. Despite his ill humor, he possesses a charm that draws people in, making him a beloved figure among fellow gamblers and misfits alike.
