The Rookwood

Rainwell Pass is a treacherous, narrow wooded corridor along The Southern Road, where broken-down wagons lie abandoned, remnants of travelers who dared to traverse this perilous route. The air is thick with humidity, and the ground is a mire of sludge, making every step a struggle, while the constant rain and distant thunder create an ominous atmosphere.

Towering trees loom overhead, their gnarled roots exposed and twisted, while the remnants of old wagons are half-buried in the muck, their wooden frames rotting away. The sound of rain pattering on leaves mingles with the occasional crack of lightning, illuminating the darkened path for brief moments.
