The Shinobi World

Academy Student is the entry-level stage for all aspiring shinobi, typically young children enrolled in a village’s ninja academy. At this stage, students receive foundational training in chakra control, hand signs, basic taijutsu, and the principles of teamwork, discipline, and strategy. Their primary focus is learning the theory and fundamentals of ninjutsu, history, and survival tactics, along with mastering core techniques like the Clone Jutsu, Transformation Jutsu, and Body Replacement. Academy students do not go on missions and are not considered official shinobi until they graduate and pass the Genin exam. While still unranked in the eyes of the military, this stage lays the groundwork for a shinobi’s future, and graduation marks their first step into the larger, more dangerous world of ninja life.
