The Smeag Lands

A stout Pandral monk with a fluffy, panda-like appearance, Master Bu’lo has soft black and white fur, bright, expressive eyes, and a warm smile. He wears flowing robes adorned with symbols of the wind and carries a small pouch of Smeag-infused spices at his side. His movements are graceful yet grounded, reflecting his mastery of the Way of the Soaring Palm.

Bu’lo embodies joy and serenity, often using humor to diffuse tension. He is deeply wise, valuing balance and inner peace, and is always eager to share his knowledge with others. His clumsiness in the past has made him empathetic towards those struggling, and he encourages growth through patience and practice.

Master Bu’lo wasn’t born to lead — in fact, many once doubted he could even walk the wind-carved peaks of Blownridge without slipping on his own tail. A Pandral of generous build and even greater heart, Bu’lo began as a cook’s apprentice in the lowlands, obsessed with ancient martial scrolls and the legends of the Wind Spirit. After accidentally ingesting a Smeag-infused chili dumpling, he experienced a profound, dreamlike trance where he danced with cloud beasts and sparred with the storm. He awoke on the cliffs of the Blownridge Peaks, somehow weightless, serene, and changed. Taken in by the Chimplumes — initially as a curiosity — Bu’lo spent years observing their cloud-dancing ways. Though clumsy at first, his dedication to balance, breath, and inner peace slowly won over the skeptical Council of the Winds.
