Kobu is a bundle of energy, always ready to play a prank or share a laugh. He has a mischievous streak, often using his illusions to confuse and delight. Despite his playful nature, he possesses a deep wisdom and connection to the vapor spirits, often acting as a mediator between the material and ethereal realms. Kobu speaks in a lively, animated manner, often punctuating his sentences with gestures and laughter, making him a joy to be around.

Kobu hails from the Cloudborne Collective, a faction of Chimplumes who revere the vapor spirits and the whimsical nature of the winds. Growing up in the lush canopies of the Smeag Lands, he learned the art of illusion and mischief from the elders, who taught him to harness the power of the winds and the essence of smeag. His playful nature often leads him into trouble, but his heart is always in the right place, seeking to bring joy and laughter to those around him. As an illusion trainer, he guides young Chimplumes in the ways of trickery and magic, ensuring that the legacy of their playful spirit endures.
