Hermits and loners, they live on the margins of society, in abandoned mansions or forest huts, avoiding contact with each other. Hatred of their fellow human beings is their hallmark. They do the dirty work: murder, security, espionage-for a decent reward. Their dark forces are a tool for achieving the goals of those who hire them. Society fears them.
