Author's Note: ***WIP*** I'm brand new to creating stories with a toolset as big as F&F's. Horatio Ballard is a childe of Lodin, the former prince of Chicago. During the War of Chicago in 1993, after Lodin's Final Death, Horatio sought to claim the princedom for himself. For decades, he served his sire and clan as a financial and political asset, motivated not by loyalty but by fear of Lodin's wrath if he failed to uphold their deal. Now that he is free from his sire's shadow, Horatio aims to become the wealthiest vampire in Chicago, shifting from being a mere source of funds to a powerful debt collector in the city's vampiric hierarchy.
