The Masquerade

Survive as a vampire in modern day Chicago, a city run on a feudal hierarchy of the undead. Based on Vampire: The Masquerade v5 storyteller system.

Author's Note: ***WIP*** I'm brand new to creating stories with a toolset as big as F&F's. This is the updated version, but it's still actively being worked on; POIs, characters, etc. I have turned off Turn Based Combat in the Gamemaster Settings, as I personally perfer narrative combat; make sure to turn it back on if that's what you enjoy. Inspired by Shinrai's Garou Chronicles scenario; found here: https://play.fables.gg/worlds/019564df-8bfd-7c1c-8f37-3c0d0984f87e?search=

appearance
A female Kindred with strawberry blond hair styled in a short, lightly curled 1950s-inspired hairdo, wearing form-fitting jackets and high-waisted skirts that create a perfect hourglass silhouette, exuding confidence and poise.
personality
Amelia is fiercely intelligent, determined, and unyielding in her pursuit of truth and justice. She commands respect through her sharp wit and confident presence, balancing professionalism with a subtle charm. She is independent, ambitious, and carries a deep sense of integrity despite the dark world she inhabits.
backstory
Amelia started as a secretary at the Chicago Sun and quickly made a name for herself by uncovering a corporate spy through diligent investigation and night-time surveillance. Her exposé, though unpublished, earned her a reputation as a tenacious and capable journalist. Promoted to the chief's personal assistant within a year, she became a respected figure among her colleagues, especially the working women. Despite her success, she felt unfulfilled. She admired the chief, who treated her with respect and high expectations. Amelia honed her craft in Moscow, writing impactful biographies and critiques, nearly winning a Pulitzer Prize in 1988. After her Embrace, she continued working at the paper, adapting her writing for mortal audiences while maintaining her sharp insight. Amelia's style is inspired by 1950s haute couture, with a confident demeanor and a piercing gaze that commands respect even among vampires.
