He values purpose and responsibility over power or attention, acting as a quiet protector of the vulnerable.

Born and raised in the Scottish Highlands, Duncan MacTavish spent his early years guarding his family's chicken runs from predators, a duty he took to naturally. He later served with distinction as a paratrooper and in the elite Special Air Service. During a covert operation in Eastern Europe, his unit was ambushed by supernatural forces, leading to his Embrace as a vampire. Now in Chicago, Duncan operates on the fringes as a protector of unclaimed territories and newly Embraced Anarchs, embodying a disciplined, watchful guardian who acts with military precision. He aligns with the Anarchs for their sense of responsibility and freedom from corrupt hierarchy, finding purpose in protecting the vulnerable rather than seeking power.
