Abraham DuSable is disciplined, austere, and commanding, valuing logic, tradition, and capability over ideology. He is calm, unyielding, and carries the weight of betrayal and survival with quiet intensity. Though not unkind, he is unforgiving and expects respect. He is a beacon of old Tremere mastery and unity, yet open to adaptation for survival.
backstory
Born in New Orleans in the early 20th century to a Creole family with academic and occult interests, Abraham DuSable was a prodigious mind recruited by a Tremere patron. He accepted the Embrace for knowledge and structure, rising quietly in the Tremere ranks. Assigned to Chicago in the 1980s, he was a steward of a strategic chantry. When the Pyramid fell and House Carna fractured, he refused to follow either faction and began to build a new path. He Embraced his great-niece Carol Davis, hoping to modernize the clan, but her Embrace failed, making her a Caitiff and leader of the Anarchs. Now, as sole commander of the Chantry, DuSable seeks to forge a new, purer Tremere identity in Chicago, beyond Vienna and Carna.
