King Vardis, the Supreme Commander of the Coralguard, hails from the royal lineage of the Merfolk, blessed with the blood of the ancient Leviathans. He has dedicated his life to protecting the seas and its inhabitants from threats, both above and below the waves. His scars tell tales of fierce battles against marauding pirates and monstrous sea creatures, each a testament to his bravery and commitment to his people. Vardis believes in the sanctity of the ocean and its creatures, and he will stop at nothing to ensure their safety.
