Blinding Lotus Mist
(Recharge 5-6) The Guard can release a cloud of poisonous mist in a 15-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be blinded and poisoned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The mist dissipates after 1 round.
Lotus Blade
Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage. If the target is hit, they must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute.
Multiattack
The Guard makes two attacks, either with their Lotus Blade or a ranged Poisoned Dart.
Poisoned Dart
Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage. The target must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 9 (2d8) poison damage and be poisoned until the end of the Guard’s next turn.
Reactions
Deflecting Shield: When a creature the Guard can see attacks them with a melee weapon, the Guard can use their reaction to raise their shield and add +2 to their AC, potentially causing the attack to miss. This can be used once per short rest. Poisonous Retaliation (1/Day): If the Guard is hit by a melee attack while they are poisoned, they can immediately use their reaction to make a melee attack with their Lotus Blade against the attacker. If the attack hits, the attacker must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take poison damage equal to the Guard’s level of poison.
