His wizened face is framed by a curled mustache and bushy eyebrows, giving him a whimsical, mischievous look. He wears ink-stained robes cluttered with pockets holding quills and scraps of parchment. Despite his age, he moves with a spry, energetic bounce, constantly bustling around his cramped, cluttered library filled with maps and sea charts.

Veznutt Parooh is curious, energetic, and eccentric, with an insatiable love for history and geography. He is inquisitive to a fault, always asking questions and eagerly absorbing new information. His mischievous humor and playful wit make him endearing, though his rambling speeches and tangents about ancient lore can be exhausting. He is passionate and excitable, his eyes lighting up whenever discussing maps or historical debates, especially with his friend Ilsoari. Veznutt is good-natured and generous, always willing to share his knowledge or lend a map to a curious traveler. Despite his age, his youthful enthusiasm makes him seem timeless, driven by the thrill of discovery and the pursuit of knowledge.

Veznutt Parooh grew up in Magnimar, fascinated by maps and the world beyond. As a young gnome, he apprenticed under a renowned cartographer, learning the art of mapmaking and developing an insatiable curiosity for history and geography. Eager to explore, Veznutt traveled throughout Varisia, charting remote areas and collecting ancient maps. His adventures eventually brought him to Sandpoint, where he decided to settle down, opening his cramped and cluttered library to share his knowledge and sell his vast collection of maps and sea charts. His love for history led him to befriend Ilsoari, the headmaster at Turandarok Academy, with whom he frequently argues over historical details and ancient lore. Despite his age, Veznutt remains spry and energetic, forever curious and always searching for the next great discovery. His maps have become famous throughout Sandpoint, attracting travelers, scholars, and adventurers alike.
