Jabyl Sorn was raised in the House of Blue Stones, learning the teachings of Irori from her father, Enderaki Sorn, who devoted his life to the pursuit of self-perfection. When he passed in 4700 AR, Jabyl took over as caretaker, dedicating herself to maintaining the monastery’s traditions, teachings, and vast library.
Though she is welcoming to those who seek knowledge or discipline, she holds herself to strict personal standards, believing that true mastery of the body and mind comes through rigorous study and self-control. She often withdraws into meditation and study, poring over the monastery’s ancient texts in search of greater enlightenment.
While she rarely discusses personal matters, her unwavering dedication and quiet wisdom have earned her deep respect in Sandpoint, though some find her austere nature intimidating.
