Description

Northgate serves as the primary northern entrance to Sandpoint, bustling with merchants, farmers, and travelers from the Lost Coast Road. The sturdy wooden gate, reinforced with iron bands, is flanked by stone watchtowers and features a heavy portcullis for emergencies. During the day, it is lively with activity, while at night, it is closed and lightly patrolled by guards. A small guardhouse in one tower keeps records of arrivals, and friendly guards offer directions to newcomers.
