Rachel is energetic, mercurial, and cheerful, finding pleasure in almost every aspect of life. She is modest about her dance skills, despite her expertise, and has little patience for liars or fools. Her enthusiasm for life is infectious, and she is known for her kindness and willingness to help others find joy.

Rachel Wykos was born in Neverwinter in 1343 DR and moved to Waterdeep with her parents at the age of four. Known for her energetic and cheerful demeanor, she found joy in life and had a passion for dance. At seventeen, she received a bronze pendant from a spectral dancer, which she took as a sign from Lliira, leading her to dedicate her life to the goddess. After a tragic encounter with a lich that claimed the lives of her friends, she continued to adventure with the Knights of the Sword Coast, eventually marrying Arkiem Allen and returning to Waterdeep. Together, they aimed to restore the Temple of Good Cheer, where Rachel taught dance and spread joy, mentoring young women like Lahren in the ways of Lliira.
