A middle-aged human male monk with a strong build, wearing simple yet elegant robes adorned with symbols of Tyr. He has short, neatly combed hair, a well-groomed beard, and piercing blue eyes that convey wisdom and authority. His presence is commanding, and he carries himself with the poise of a seasoned martial artist.
personality
Prior Hlam is disciplined, wise, and deeply committed to justice. He values honor and integrity above all else, often serving as a mentor to those who seek to uphold the law. His demeanor is calm and collected, but he can be fierce when justice is at stake.
backstory
Prior Hlam was a human monk and priest of Tyr who lived in Neverwinter in 1374 DR and later in Waterdeep in 1492 DR. A staunch ally of the Order of the Gauntlet, he often provided counsel to members of Force Grey at the behest of the Blackstaff, Vajra Safahr. Hlam was known for his friendship with the gold dragon Aurinax, with whom he regularly conversed. He assisted Reverend Judge Oleff Uskar in presiding over the Hall of Justice in Neverwinter, training worshipers of Tyr in justice and martial skills. In the late 15th century, he resided in a cave on the slopes of Mount Waterdeep, serving as the grand-master of the Order of the Even-Handed, where he occasionally took on prospective students, though they rarely returned for a second session of training.
