World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

Fort Mercer is a large, imposing stone fortress situated in the arid deserts of Río Bravo, New Austin. Originally built as a military outpost, it has since been seized and heavily fortified by the notorious Del Lobo gang. The fort rests on a slight rise, commanding a clear view of the surrounding desolate landscape. Its thick stone walls, watchtowers, and heavy gates create a formidable stronghold, built to withstand assaults and project the power of the outlaws within. Danger Rating: 10/10 Fort Mercer is an exceptionally dangerous location, serving as the primary headquarters for the large and ruthless Del Lobo gang. The fort is heavily garrisoned with armed outlaws, with sentries stationed in watchtowers and patrols moving within and around the walls. Any attempt to approach or infiltrate the fort is met with immediate and overwhelming force.

Appearance

The fort is a grim and forbidding structure. Its high, weathered stone walls are pocked with bullet holes and scorch marks from past conflicts. Crude wooden additions and repairs are visible, testament to its current outlaw occupants. Heavy wooden gates, often guarded, bar the main entrance. The entire structure exudes an aura of violence, desperation, and lawlessness.
