World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

The Aberdeen Pig Farm is an isolated and deeply unsettling farmstead located in the otherwise picturesque region of Scarlett Meadows. The property consists of a severely dilapidated two-story farmhouse, several squalid outbuildings including ramshackle pig pens, and overgrown, neglected fields. The farm is run by a peculiar and disturbingly overly-friendly brother and sister, Bray and Tammy Aberdeen, whose hospitality masks a sinister nature. This location is exceptionally dangerous due to its inhabitants. The Aberdeens are predatory individuals who lure unsuspecting travelers into their home with offers of food and drink, only to drug, rob, and potentially murder them. The farm itself is a trap, and any interaction with its owners carries extreme risk.

Appearance

The farm is a picture of profound neglect and filth. Fences are broken, fields are overgrown with weeds, and the pig pens are muddy wallows. A general air of decay and squalor hangs over the entire property. The farmhouse itself looks particularly uninviting, with peeling paint and a sense of hidden rottenness. The sounds are often limited to the grunting of pigs and the unsettling quiet of its isolated location.
