Description

Lake Isabella is a large, perpetually frozen lake high in the Grizzlies West mountains of Ambarino. Its isolation and unique wildlife make it a significant landmark for naturalists and hunters, while the dilapidated cabin on its northern shore adds a touch of mystery. Danger: 8/10 - Extreme Weather: Severe cold and blizzards can quickly impact health without winter gear, and storms can obscure visibility completely. - Apex Predators: Timber wolves in the area can be hostile when disturbed. Grizzly bears also pose a significant threat in nearby forests. - Isolation: Its remote location puts anyone involved in a conflict or accident far from help, increasing dangers. Native Plants: Wintergreen Berry Wild Mint Currant Wildlife: - Fish: The legendary sockeye salmon is the only known fish caught in a small, non-frozen section of the lake. - Mammals: Legendary white bison, gray wolf (often found in large packs), grizzly bear, moose, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, American pronghorn.

Appearance

A vast, circular expanse of shimmering, pale-white ice surrounded by snow-dusted evergreen trees and jagged mountain peaks. The stark white of the lake contrasts with the deep green of the pines and gray rock, offering breathtaking views of the stars at night.
