World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

This station is the key railway hub for the bustling and often rowdy livestock town of Valentine in New Hanover. It serves as the primary point for passenger travel, mail services, and the shipment of smaller freight, connecting the remote cattle town to the wider world.

Appearance

A standard, single-story wooden railway station building, painted in the livery of the national railroad company, though showing signs of wear from the elements and the constant traffic of a busy frontier town. A long, covered wooden platform runs alongside the tracks, often bustling with passengers, and a prominent sign clearly identifies it as 'Valentine Station.'
