World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

SD - Docks area is a vibrant waterfront where the Lannahechee River meets Flat Iron Lake. This bustling hub is crucial for commerce, boasting long wooden piers, large warehouses, and a network of shipping offices that are always buzzing with the activity of loading and unloading cargo from various ships. Danger Rating: 6/10 St. Denis is a rough neighborhood, and the port is a hotspot for trouble. Although the area is patrolled by the police, the large number of goods and temporary workers makes it a prime target for theft, smuggling, and violent fights among dockworkers and rival gangs. At night, the dark areas can be especially dangerous.

Appearance

The landscape is characterized by long, weathered wooden piers extending into murky waters, surrounded by imposing warehouses of timber and brick. The air is filled with the scents of river water, fish, and coal smoke, while the sounds of steamship horns, creaking cranes, and shouting laborers create a vibrant, chaotic atmosphere.
