World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

A large, multi-purpose establishment situated in the heart of the grim mining town of Annesburg. Founded by a German immigrant, the 'Midnight Beer Hall' serves as a vital social hub for weary coal miners, offering food, drink, and lodging in a bleak industrial setting.

Appearance

The building features traditional German half-timbered architecture, with once-white stucco walls now stained grey from coal dust. Its dark, exposed wooden beams are coated in soot, creating a sturdy yet perpetually dirty structure that stands in stark contrast to the utilitarian shacks of Annesburg.
