World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

This massive building is the heart of the Jameson Mine and Coal Company's operations in Annesburg. It functions as the primary processing plant where coal is sorted and loaded for transport. Due to its vital importance to the company's profits and the frequent unrest among the miners, the entire facility is heavily guarded by armed officers who are hostile to any unauthorized approach.

Appearance

A uniquely large, red structure that resembles a massive barn, built upon a framework of tall stilts. The building spans the entire slope of a hill, with faded and soot-stained red paint, and features two distinct underpasses: a wide one for freight trains and a smaller one for pedestrians and horses.
