Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description
The largest building in the abandoned mining settlement of Colter, serving as the communal hub, saloon, and mess hall for the original inhabitants. It was a desperate shelter for the Van der Linde gang during the 1899 blizzard after their flight from Blackwater.
Appearance
A large, single-story log building groaning under the weight of snow, with a sagging roof and broken windows letting in snow and wind. The weathered gray logs and slow-collapse state make it a grim monument to failed ambition in a hostile land.
