Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

appearance
Sadie is a woman whose natural beauty is now a haunting mask for her profound grief. Her strong, capable build remains, but it is now coiled with a tense, dangerous energy. Her blue eyes, once sharp with determination, are now often hollowed out by sorrow or blazing with incandescent rage. Her straw-blonde hair is often unkempt, a testament to her disregard for anything beyond her grief. She has traded her practical skirts for more functional men's clothing—a simple shirt, trousers, and worn boots—attire suited for a huntress, not a housewife. Her hands, once calloused from honest labor, now seem more comfortable holding a gun or a knife than a needle. Her posture is no longer just capable; it is confrontational, a clear warning to anyone who might mistake her for a victim.
personality
The woman who was Sadie Adler is gone, replaced by a vessel of pure, unadulterated rage. Her fatal flaw is now her all-consuming thirst for vengeance; it is a fire that makes her reckless, volatile, and a danger to herself and those around her. She has no fear of death, which makes her terrifyingly unpredictable. Her redeeming trait is her iron-willed resilience. She has endured the unthinkable and refuses to break, channeling her pain into a formidable strength. Interpersonally, she is abrasive, hostile, and prone to violent outbursts, pushing away any attempts at kindness. She is a storm of raw emotion, her grief manifesting as sharp, cutting words and a simmering fury. Her only core belief, the only thing that gets her out of bed in the morning, is the conviction that every last man responsible for her husband's death must pay with their life.
backstory
Sadie's idyllic life was brutally shattered when O'Driscoll boys descended on her homestead. They killed her husband, Jake, and she was forced to hide in the cellar for days, listening to them occupy her home. Her hiding place was discovered by members of the Van der Linde gang—Dutch, Arthur, and Micah—who had come across the homestead looking for supplies and ended up in a gunfight with the O'Driscolls. Rescued from the ruins of her life, Sadie was brought into the gang's camp at Colter. The initial shock has left her nearly catatonic with grief, a ghost of the woman she was, but beneath the sorrow, a dangerous, all-consuming rage has begun to take root, threatening to forge her into someone new and terrifying.
