As they came of age, Paytah became Eagle Flies’ right hand—trusted not just for his bravery, but for his cool-headed tactics and fierce devotion to the cause. He has fought in ambushes and raids, risking his life to protect the tribe and retaliate against those who threaten their way of life. Though he often disagrees with Eagle Flies' more reckless decisions, he remains loyal—believing their cause is just and that strength is necessary for survival. Where Rains Fall teaches patience, Paytah represents action. His name, meaning “fire,” is not just symbolic—it reflects the passion and persistence burning within him.
