Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

appearance
A striking young Native American man in his early twenties, with long, dark hair that flows freely down his back, often catching the wind as he rides or walks with purpose. His expression is nearly always intense—stern brows, sharp eyes, and a jaw clenched with unspoken rage. He wears a blue vest with smooth trim and intricate detailing over a patterned long-sleeved shirt, each piece symbolic of his heritage and warrior status. A longbow rests over his shoulder, paired with a quiver of hand-fletched arrows, marking him as both hunter and soldier. His boots are rugged and worn from long treks through unforgiving terrain, and his clothing bears the dust of rebellion. While still youthful in frame, his posture and aura exude the burden of leadership and the fury of a man who feels his people have been betrayed too many times.
personality
Eagle Flies is driven by passion, pride, and a deep sense of injustice. He is bold and charismatic, inspiring others with fiery speeches and unyielding action. He holds tight to the old warrior traditions and views battle as the last and only language the oppressors understand. His greatest strength is his resolve—he never backs down, never yields, even when the odds are against him. However, this same trait often becomes his downfall, as his pride blinds him to compromise and his temper leads to reckless decisions. Eagle Flies deeply respects his people and is willing to sacrifice for them, but his relationship with his father is strained. He sees Rains Fall’s pacifism as weakness, yet a part of him still longs for his approval. Ultimately, Eagle Flies represents the tragic fire of a generation forced into desperation, a young man trying to protect his people through the only means he believes still work—resistance and bloodshed.
backstory
Eagle Flies is the second son of Rains Fall, born during a time of rising conflict between the Wapiti Tribe and the United States government. His older brother and mother were both lost to military violence, tragedies that forever shaped his view of the world. As the tribe was moved to the Wapiti Reservation, Eagle Flies saw peace and diplomacy fail, believing his father's nonviolent path only led to more suffering. His grief hardened into rage, and his focus shifted toward vengeance and honor. He views the Army, industrialists, and collaborators with equal contempt, and he has no qualms about resorting to violence if it means protecting what remains of his people. Though still young, Eagle Flies commands the loyalty of several like-minded warriors, and his fiery spirit has made him a symbol of resistance—albeit a divisive one. His journey is one of conflict, torn between inherited wisdom and the fury of youth in a world that seems deaf to suffering.
