Western
In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

OLS - Lodging Room #2 (The Middle Room)
Point of Interest
Details
Coordinates | (2345, 636) |
Description
The cheapest and most frequently rented room, used by drifters and brawlers for a few hours of fitful sleep. Its central location means it absorbs the most noise from the bar below and the rooms on either side.
Appearance
This room is stark and grim, containing only a narrow cot with a thin, stained mattress and a bucket in the corner. A large, splintered hole in the center of the door suggests it was recently kicked in, and the walls are thin enough to hear every argument and gunshot in the building.
