World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

This is the primary social space of the saloon where patrons can order drinks, play poker, and socialize. It serves as the center of all activity and the flashpoint for the saloon's infamous, deadly violence.

Appearance

The room is dimly lit and perpetually hazy with smoke. A long, worn wooden bar dominates one side, backed by a large, fly-specked mirror and shelves of dusty bottles. The space is filled with rickety round tables and chairs, with a dedicated area for poker. The floors are dirty, and the entire establishment has a tense, unwelcoming atmosphere.
