World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

The largest section of the depot, this cavernous warehouse is used for the short-term storage of all incoming and outgoing freight. It's a scene of constant activity, with dockworkers moving cargo, making it a prime target for thieves looking to intercept valuable shipments.

Appearance

A vast, open space with high, raftered ceilings. Huge sliding doors open directly onto the docks, allowing for easy loading and unloading of goods. The floor is a chaotic maze of wooden crates, barrels, heavy sacks, and industrial equipment like handcarts and dollies. The air is thick with the smell of sawdust, salt, and whatever goods are currently being stored.
