World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

This is the primary retail area where customers can browse and purchase items. Silas Crawford can always be found behind the main counter, ready to trade. The shop is a rare pocket of relative neutrality in town, though arguments and threats are still common.

Appearance

The room is cramped and cluttered, with shelves sagging under the weight of canned goods, patent medicines, and various supplies. Barrels are filled with pickles or crackers, and crates of ammunition are stacked near the counter. A long, worn wooden counter runs along the back wall, featuring a cash register and weighing scales. The air smells of dust, old wood, and cured meats.
