World of Redemption

H

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

The expansive main floor is dominated by a long, polished wooden bar that runs almost the entire length of the room. Behind it, a massive, ornate mirror, clouded with age and dust, reflects the sparse collection of liquor bottles. A brass footrail at the base of the bar is tarnished and worn. Several round tables and chairs are scattered across the floor, inviting card games and conversation, while a silent, out-of-tune upright piano sits against the far wall. A grand wooden staircase with a creaking banister leads to the second floor.

Appearance

The air is thick with the ghosts of old cigar smoke and the faint, sweet smell of stale, spilled whiskey. Light from the dusty windows cuts through the gloom, illuminating swirling dust motes. The wooden floor is dark and stained, covered in a thin layer of sawdust.
