World of Redemption

In 1899, modernity clashes with the fading Wild West. Industry and law meet untamed lands influenced by deep-seated sexism and racism. Towns evolve, yet dangers and old superstitions persist. Progress contrasts with folklore. Diverse landscapes reflect social inequalities and contested resources. Industrial growth offers opportunity but also exploitation, straining a prejudiced society. Life is harsh; the beautiful land demands resilience, often tested by societal biases and ingrained beliefs.

Description

The Ruined Wickiup stands as a skeletal frame in a once-thriving settlement, its long, flexible wooden poles now exposed to the elements. The structure, resembling the ribcage of a long-dead animal, serves as a poignant reminder of a vanished community, with its original coverings long gone. Inside, the main living space is a circular area with a packed earth floor, once warm and inviting, now cold and overrun with grass and weeds. The shallow fire pit at the center is filled with leaves, and the remnants of personal belongings hint at the lives once lived here.

Appearance

In its original state, the wickiup blends seamlessly with the landscape, appearing as a humble and efficient shelter. Now, it stands as a somber frame, a haunting silhouette against the sky.
